We are inviting you to donate an item that will pique the interest of the event's visitors and guests.

Proceeds from the auction will support the Pasto Agricultural Museum Endowment Income from this Endowment helps pay for the repair and restoration of donated items and part-time office assistance to help with inventory records, correspondence, and scheduling tours and guides.

Pasto Agricultural Museum to Hold Ninth Silent Auction
at Ag Progress Days

Penn State's Pasto Agricultural Museum will hold its ninth silent auction during the 2008 Ag Progress Days to help generate funds to preserve the rich heritage of agriculture and rural living. Proceeds will benefit the Pasto Agricultural Museum Endowment.

Auction items have included antique hand tools and furniture, newer and antique model tractors and trucks, farm supplies, Penn State football tickets, a year's supply of Penn State Creamery ice cream, meats from the University Meats Lab, gift certificates for dinner and plant material.

All auction items will be on display at Ag Progress Days, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20, in the tent beside the museum. Bidding is only on Wednesday, August 20 and will close promptly at 3:00 p.m. Successful bidders can pick up their items after payment is processed Wednesday evening or pay an additional 15% for handling ($15 minimum).
