WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Participation is open to all persons registered to bid. Everyone who wants to bid must provide identification, address and phone number to register for a bid number in the auction tent.

HOW DOES THE SILENT AUCTION WORK?
Review all items displayed in the auction tent. Select those items you wish to buy. Write your registered bid number on the silent auction bid sheet for each desired item along with your bid amount. Stop by the display anytime to check the status of the most current bids. If someone has submitted a bid higher than yours, you may bid again! Remember that each new bid must be increased by the specified monetary increment shown on the bid sheet for that particular item. You may place as many bids as you like before the Silent Auction closes at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE WON?
All bid winners will be announced after the close of the auction at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. If you are not present you will be contacted by phone to arrange payment and pickup or you may arrange for COD delivery.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY ITEMS?
All items must be claimed and paid for at the end of the Silent Auction Wednesday afternoon. Successful buyers not present will be contacted as described above. Nothing will be released until payment is received. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash or good check. Make checks payable to "Penn State University" with "Pasto Agricultural Museum" in the memo portion of the check. Successful bidders will pick up their items after payment is processed Wednesday evening or pay an additional 15% for handling ($15 minimum).
