Volunteer Recognition Award for 2009

This year’s award honoree is:

  • A graduate of the College of Agricultural Sciences
  • A former-and returning-member (currently Secretary) of the Volunteer Advisory  Board
  • A long time leader and supporter of the museum – back to the days when it was under the College of Agriculture Alumni Society (CAAS)—his tenure is second only to that of
    Dr. Jerry Pasto.
  • A donor of a half dozen unique items to the Penn State Pasto Agricultural Museum's
    collection and the first financial donor to the museum’s enhancement fund
  • A person who contributes time, personal vehicles, and labor to off-site events of the
    museum and is now chair of the off-site events volunteer committee
  • A personable and passionate individual in all that he does to enhance the image of the museum
  • Finally, a retired dairy farmer from Bradford County, PA
